How Apple Music Can Create A Win, Win.
This is a very simple win for Apple.
I figure if I keep writing about it somebody will eventually read it and make it happen.
Invest one billion dollars in artist development. Pay for recordings, support the musicians and songwriters who create the music that your subscribers are paying you for. Breathe life back into a battered community. If you show musicians and songwriters support and appreciation, you’ll get the musicians and songwriters behind you, they will tell their fans.
The good will alone and the ensuing publicity would be the best marketing campaign Apple Music and Apple could have ever hope for.
And isn’t this way that successful broadcasters are doing it, whether it is HBO or Netflix?
